Shirley A. Charpentier, age 85, daughter of Edward Eggert and Emma Schultz. Beloved Wife of the late Jules A. Charpentier. Loving Mother of Mary (Peter) Jansson, Jacqueline (John) La Berg, Jules John (Julie), Marc, and the late infant John Jules. Cherished Grandmother of Jonathan (Sara), Cassandra (Sean), Jarett, Christopher, Jennings and Nicholas. Adoring Great Grandmother of Landon, Logan, Lily, Lexi, Livvy, Benjamin, Grace, Joshua and Evan. Dear Sister of Donna “D.J.” (the late George) Autsch and the late Edward (the late Jer) Eggert. Fond Sister-in-Law of the late Lorraine (the late Robert) Ortmann and the late June (the late Joseph) Lupo. Dearly loved Aunt of many Nieces and Nephews. Dearest Best Friend of Marilyn (Don) Brandel and her loving Caregiver, Rey Valdez (Lily.) Shirley has left behind a wonderful legacy. During her life’s journey she played the drums, piano and accordion, was a football cheerleader, modeled for a fur company, and was a talented card player for Bridge, Pinochle, Golf, and Rummy! She was a Pre-Cana Counselor, Cub Scout Leader, Gymnastics Judge, and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Emily’s. Family and Friends will gather Friday October 29, 2021, at St. Emily Catholic Church 1400 E. Central Rd. Mt. Prospect, IL. 60056. Visitation 10:00 AM until time of Mass 11:00 AM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley’s memory are appreciated to Rainbow Hospice or The American Diabetes Association.
