September 8, 1930 - November 18, 2019
Nancy Carol (Anderson) Villiger, 89, died Monday November 18th, in Des Plaines, Illinois at home peacefully, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Nancy Villiger was born in Fredericksburg, Virginia on September 8, 1930 to parents Charles Clifford Anderson, Sr. and Leah Armstrong Anderson. She graduated from Schurz High School and worked 28 years at Continental Bank in stock transfers. All have agreed that she lived a good and vibrant life. Before her passing, she recalled many fond memories of days spent with her family and trips that they took together. Her life was as bright as her favorite color of red. Her love of life could be seen in her dancing and singing along to her favorite songs, especially Mack the Knife by Bobby Darrin. And although we will all miss her beyond words, not a day will pass without a thought of her that will bring us a smile and joy in the knowledge that we knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband John Villiger, along with her brothers, Charles Clifford Anderson, Jr. (the late Helen) and John Armstrong Anderson (Marilyn). She is survived by her children Judy Lynn Curley ( the late James), Robert Charles Gloppe (Marcia), and Bette Carol Morreale (the late Ross) as well as her 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her sister-in-law Marilyn Anderson. Lying in state Friday 9 am until time of funeral service 10 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 675 E. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines. Interment Ridgewood Memorial Park.
