Joan Luttge

October 1, 1930 - January 23, 2022

Joan Bergland Luttge Passed away at the Lutheran Home , Arlington Heights, IL  on January 23, 2022. Joan was born on October 1, 1930 in Saint Louis, MO and was the only child of Harold and Sigrid (Bergland) Luttge. Joan’s quiet presence, strong faith and sense of humor will long be remembered by her many cousins. Joan was a member of the Webster Groves High School Class of 1948. She attended Columbia College and remained a loyal alumnus to that institution over the years. Joan was employed by an advertising firm in Chicago for 36 years, retiring in 1987. After retirement, Joan enjoyed traveling with friends and she was a frequent visitor at various family events. She also served several terms on the Condo Board of the Lexington Commons. The Lutheran Church was an important part of her life and she was a faithful attendee at Bible Study and church services as well as serving in a variety of church related positions.    Cremation has taken place in accordance with Joan’s wishes. Arrangements were made by the Matz Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
