Felicia Oprea age 85 of Mount Prospect peacefully passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. She was born on September 15, 1936 in Galautas, Romania to Vasile and Cornelia Trimbitas. Felicia was a beloved wife of George Oprea for 56 years; a loving mother to Florence (Steven) Nicolici. Felicia lived for her family; grandchildren Alexander Nicolici and Cristina (Nicolici) Zajac and great-grandchildren Austin and Cheyanne Zajac. She loved to cook, sew, and listen to the singing of her cherished canaries.   Please join us for the wake of Friday, February 4th from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., with prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church 4225 N Central Ave., Chicago, IL. Family and friends with gather for a Funeral Service on Saturday, February 5th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church. Procession to follow for burial service at Rosehill Cemetery 5800 N. Ravenswood Ave., Chicago, IL.   In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church are welcome.
