Edwin J. Ryan, Jr., age 92; WW II Army veteran serving with the 20th Armored Division. Edwin was the owner of Central Plumbing Co. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Doris, his children, Michael (Chris), Kevin and Tom (Cheryl), 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Visitation Wed., Nov. 1, 2017, 3-9 PM at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mt. Prospect. Funeral Thurs. 9:30 AM to St. Emily Church for mass at 10:00 AM. Interment All Saints. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Diabetes Foundation or Alzheimer's Association appreciated.
