Sandra Lee Paul July 12, 1963 - September 7, 2025 With deep sorrow and immense love, we share that Sandra Lee Paul, beloved sister-in-Christ, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on September 7, 2025, after a courageous seven-year battle with cancer. She was 62 years old. Sandi was born to Gregg and Judith Bazzett. She is preceded in death by her father, Gregg, and her grandmother, Blanche Vivirito, who was a special part of her life and an important influence on her faith in Christ. She is survived by her mother, Judy Bazzett, whom she loved dearly, and by her siblings, Todd Bazzett, Tina Bazzett, Tricia Parchinski, and Tammy Ramey. Sandi was the devoted wife of nearly 40 years to her soulmate and best friend, Michael Paul. Their marriage was built on an unshakable foundation of love for each other and, above all, their faith in God. Together, they created a home where Christ was at the center, and their relationship was a living testimony of God’s design for marriage. Their children and their spouses will be forever grateful for the extraordinary example of love and commitment that Sandi and Michael lived out before them. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Sandi was the proud and adoring mother of five children: Shawna (Dustin) Krieger, and their children Everett, Ella, Emberly, and Eden Ryan (Michelle) Paul, and their children Regan, Caleb, and Rhett Kristen (Zachary) VanDeWater, and their children Shiloh and Lakelynn Kelly (Jacob) Autio, and their son Joshua Geovanni Stanley To her grandchildren, Sandi was simply known as “Gigi.” Though she adored her children, she often said that grandchildren were one of life’s greatest blessings. Her happiest moments were found in simple joys with them - bedtime snuggles, Saturday mornings at the farmers market, and the sound of their laughter. Being Gigi was her greatest delight and her love will forever live on in their hearts. Sandi’s faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her life. She carried a childlike trust in Him, never wavering in her belief and peace about her eternal home. Even through her battle with cancer, she never complained. Her motto, spoken often and lived daily, was: “We have a lot to be thankful for.” This spirit of gratitude defined her life and left a lasting example of faith and resilience for all who knew her. Sandi was also a gifted businesswoman, founding and growing a highly successful design business, Design Classics. She was a visionary, an artist, and a leader who inspired those around her. Sandi fought her illness with remarkable courage, grace, and strength. She never allowed cancer to define her, and she remained full of faith, love, and thankfulness until her final days. Even in the midst of suffering, she often used her trial as an opportunity to witness and share her faith and love for her Savior, leaving a lasting impact on everyone around her. Her family and friends are grieved by her passing, but they take comfort in knowing she is now embraced by her Savior, Jesus Christ.
